James Edward Bucher

James Edward Bucher, age 73, long time resident of Libertyville, Iowa, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 at Iowa Veteran's Home in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, June 24, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville, with Pastor Peg Ellingson. Burial will be at Fell Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Fell Cemetery Association or the Libertyville Faith United Methodist Church.

James was born in Libertyville on December 16, 1936 to Edward and Marjorie Louth Bucher. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and had worked at Bucher's Garage, doing auto tune up and auto body repair.

James is survived by one brother, Larry (Carol) Bucher of Lincoln, Nebraska and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents and one sister, Janet Wingate.
