James Andrew Courtney

James Andrew Courtney, age 37, formerly of Fairfield, passed away December 25, 2006 in Phoenix, AZ. The body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 29, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Rev. Keevin Koch officiating.

Visitation with the family present will begin at 10:00 AM, prior to the service.

The family requests memorials, in lieu of flowers, to be made to the James Andrew Courtney Memorial.

James Andrew Courtney was born in the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield on July 15, 1969, the son of Jon Lee and Linda Diane (Andeway) Courtney. He grew up in Fairfield, and graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1987.

Jim was self-employed as a mechanic in Phoenix for the past six years.

Jim is survived by his parents, Jon and Linda of Libertyville, IA, and his daughter, Josie Winn Courtney, of Richland, IA. Survivors include his brother, Jon L. Courtney, Jr., and his wife Stephanie, of Donnellson, IA.
