James Christopher Day

James Christopher Day, age 57 of Fairfield, Iowa passed away at his home.

There will be a memorial gathering from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Behner Funeral Home.

James was born on November 3, 1954 to Roscoe and Margaret Maxson Day.

He graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1973 and then from Indian Hills, in 1975 for Diesel Mechanics. He worked for over 30 years at Dexter Co. as a machinist.

James is survived by his mother: Margaret of Ottumwa, one sister: Sue Wallace of Chesterfield, Missouri, two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father: Roscoe.
