James Edward Lamb

James Edward Lamb, age 46, of Fairfield, died from a car-pedestrian accident Friday evening, January 26, 2007.

Funeral services were held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at the funeral home.

James Edward Lamb was born in Mt. Pleasant, IA on January 21, 1961, the son of Richard W. and Karen A (Sanderson) Lamb. He lived most of his life in Jefferson County. James married Doris Nylda Lamb. They were the parents of four children: Donald, Shaun, Cherie, and Cheralie. Doris preceded him in death.

James was employed as a truck driver and laborer for Lick Creek Enterprises in Birmingham, IA.He was an all-around outdoors man, and enjoyed fishing, camping, and BBQing, and his dog, Mickey.

James is survived by his parents , and his children and their families: Donald L. Harris, Shaun M. Lamb, Cherie N. Jackson and husband David, and Cheralie de Jesus and husband Jason W. Lamb, all of Fairfield, IA, and special friend, Elizabeth Siggia. James has four grandchildren. Survivors include one brother and four sisters: Patricia & Daniel DuFour of New London, IA, Branda & Rick Hand of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Gerald & Renee Lamb, and Victoria & Vernon Pearson, both of Fairfield, IA.

James was preceded in death by his wife Doris, his grandparents, aunt, uncle and one niece.
