FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD 10:30 AM, FRIDAY, AUGUST 19, 2005 AT THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN FAIRFIELD. REV. MIKE METZ OFFICIATED. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

James Mack Tullis was born June 14, 1916 in Decatur, Iowa, the son of Jack and Pearl (Hicks) Tullis. He married Jane Musick Timmons on October 18, 1943 in Princeton, Missouri. Jane passed away July 18, 1998.
Jim lived 54 years in the Fairfield community. He was a U.S. Navy Air Corp veteran of WWII. Jim was an insurance agent for Monarch Life Insurance of Springfield, MA. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Fairfield Clinton Masonic Lodge AF & AM #15. Jim's memberships included the Howard Johnson Coffee Club, Fairfield Lion's Club, and Walton Club. Jim was a former Fairfield City Councilman. He was an avid golfer and Iowa Hawkeyes Fan.
Jim is survived by his son, Tim and wife Gerri Tullis of Elgin, IL and two grandchildren, James and Kathryn Tullis. Survivors include one sister, Sally Pettus of Kansas City, MO and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jane, two brothers Jack and Harry and one sister, Patty.
