Janet P. Williams, age 65 of Birmingham, IA, passed away Tueaday, November 4, 2008 at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua, IA.

Open visitation will be held 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA.

Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2008 at McDowell Cemetery.

Janet P. Williams was born June 14, 1943 in Fairfield, IA to Paul and Edith Calhoun. She was employed at MetroMail in Mt. Pleasant and Thermaco in Washington, IA. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved horses.

Surviving Janet are her daughters: Jackie Williams and Jim, and Mary Haynes, both of Birmingham, IA. Survivors include four sisters: Luella Hagans of Fairfield, Beverly Brobston, also of Fairfield, Donna Smart of Waycross, GA, and Shirley Langel of Mt. Pleasant, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Donal and Ronald, a daughter Edith, one great-granddaughter, two granddaughters and one sister, Jacqueline.
