Janice Nadine Watts, age 76, of Fairfield, IA, died suddenly, Thursday, September 4, 2008, at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
Family visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, September 8, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Fairfield. Cremation will follow the service. Burial of cremains will be at later date in Bonaparte Cemtery.
The family requests memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the First Presbyterian Church or the Fairfield Senior Center. Cards and memorials may be sent c/o:

Janice Nadine Watts was born August 31, 1932 in Farson, IA to Guy Wilford "Peck" and Geneva Ruth (Cox) Teller. She was united in marriage with Carl A. Watts on May 16, 1954 in Fairfield, IA. They are the parents of two sons, David and Douglas.
Janice graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1950. She was an executive secretary and in charge of Quality Control for Ford Motor company for 20 years. Janice was a member of PEO Chapter HA, past Mother Advisor of the Order of Rainbow Girls, past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, and board member of the Fairfield Senior Citizens Center. Janice was member of First Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. Janice and Carl had made their past residences in Orange City, FL and Bonaparte, IA, and had returned to Fairfield in 2001.
Surviving Janice is her husband of 54 years, Carl Watts of Fairfield, her mother, Geneva Teller, also of Fairfield, and her children and their families: David (Christina) Watts of Cartersville, GA, Douglas (Evelyn) Watts of Mission, TX, and sister, Norma Holmes of Fairfield. She was blessed with five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one step-grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her father.
