Jerry Alan Brown, age 50 passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at his home in St. Paul, MN

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Friday, August 2, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home& Crematory in Fairfield, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St Mary Catholic Church, Fairfield, Iowa with Father Nick Adam officiating. Burial will be at Spencer Cemetery, Stockport, IA.

In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Paul Minnesota Public Library.

Jerry was born August 1, 1962 in Fairfield, IA to Donald Dean and Dolores Agnes (Moeller) Brown. He graduated from Van Buren High School with the class of 1980. He received his bachelor's degree from William Penn College in Oskaloosa, IA, his Master's degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS and completed all coursework toward a Ph.D. at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Jerry was a Supervisor for the Bureau of Labor & Statistics State of Minnesota. He enjoyed bicycling, movies, reading and politics.

Jerry is survived by his siblings: Julie (David) Ludwig of Farmington, IA, Jim (Kibby) Brown of Puyallup, WA, John (Vickie) Brown of Stockport, IA and Jack (Deborah) Brown of Mound, MN; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
