Jerry K. Partridge, 61, of Lampe, Missouri, died surrounded by his family on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 7 at Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, Missouri from 4-8 P.M. The memorial service will be Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Dogwood Canyon Chapel, Lampe, Missouri at 2 P.M.
Visitation in Fairfield, Iowa will be held Saturday, February 15 at the Behner Funeral Home from 4-8 P.M. A private burial will be at the Long Creek Cemetery in Danville, Iowa at a later date.
Branson arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home. Fairfield arrangements are under the direction of Behner Funeral Home.
Jerry K. Partridge was born February 20, 1952 in Ft. Madison, Iowa. He was the son of Hugh and Betty (Edwards) Partridge. Jerry graduated from Danville High School in Danville, Iowa. He furthered his education at Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Jerry was the president of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Jerry worked in agriculture sales for 35 years and was a volunteer fireman for Lockridge and Fairfield Fire Departments. He retired to Lampe, Missouri in March 2011 where he worked at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.
Jerry married Mary Ann Schnettgoecke on June 27, 1975 in Florissant, Missouri. They were blessed with two children, James (J.D.) and Rebecca. He was an active member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, Missouri. Jerry enjoyed trout fishing, restoring his '31 hot rod with his friends, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Betty Partridge, and nephew Aaron Drinkall.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann Partridge; son J.D. Partridge and wife Kara of St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter Rebecca Partridge Blake and husband Hunter of Allen, Texas; sister Sherry Drinkall and husband Paul of Cape Fair, Missouri; brother Terry Partridge and wife Beth of St. Charles, Illinois; three grandchildren Morgan Partridge, Mason Partridge and Amelia Blake; and eight nephews and two nieces.
