Jill Catherine Miller

Jill C. Miller, age 45, passed away April 5, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. According to family wishes her body has been cremated.

Family visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday April 7, 2008 at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Fairfield.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ with Pastor Suzanne Swahn officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ or a fund for their children at the First National Bank in Fairfield.

Jill Catherine Miller was born June 26, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Lewis and Helen (Perales) Dundon. She was united in marriage with Bruce Miller on October 8, 1994 in Fairfield, IA. They are the parents of two sons.

Jill was a member of the Fairfield community for the last 20 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, and enjoyed singing, baking, gardening, and spending time with her boys. Jill was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Fairfield.

Jill is survived by her husband, Bruce, of Fairfield, and their sons: Forest Baily Miller, age 12, and Shane Wakeman Miller, age 8, both of Fairfield, her mother, Helen Dundon of Iowa City, IA, and siblings: John & Mary Ann Dundon of Jacksonville, IL, Susan Anderson & Bud Bostwick of Feymour, IA, Sally & Tom Stange of Coralville,IA, Sam Dundon of Iowa City, IA and Sandy & Tom Wray of Riverside, IA, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jill was a beloved aunt, sister-in-law and will be missed by her many friends.

Jill was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Dundon, brother, Lewie Dundon and sister, Nancy Heitzman.
