John C. Carroll

John C. Carroll, age 49, of Fairfield, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City on June 21, 2006. Following his wishes, the body has been cremated.

A memorial service was held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

John C. Carroll was born in San Bernardino, CA on November 13, 1956. He was the son of Billy and Juanita (Savage) Carroll.

John was united in marriage with Theresa Chubick in San Bernardino on December 29, 1975. They are the parents of Patti, Kenny and Christine.

John and Theresa moved to Fairfield in 2005 from Chino Valley, AZ. He was employed by Performance Pipe in Fairfield. John's interests included Space, stars and planets. He enjoyed electronics and computers, playing pool, dvd's, fishing and spending time with his family and three grandchildren.

John is survived by his wife, Theresa of Fairfield, and their children and their families: Patti Miller and husband Michael of Libertyville, IA, Kenny Carroll of Fairfield and Christine Barras of North Carolina. Survivors include his brother, Jerry Carroll of China Valley, AZ. John was preceded in death by his parents.
