John Fickel

John "Ralph" Fickel, age 71, of Fairfeld, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 after a long illness.

His body was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date.

John Ralph Fickel, Jr. was born January 31, 1936, in Fairfield, IA, the son of John R. and Eleanor (Parsons) Fickel, Sr. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1954, and from Parsons College in 1958.

Ralph served in the United States Army in the late 50's and early 60's. He was employed at Rockwell Standard until the mid-1970's.

Ralph is survived by his son, Wayne, and two sisters: Darlene Beauchamp of Scottsdale, AZ, and Alice Burton of Carefree, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
