John Edward Fritts Jr

John Edward Fritts Jr., age 66, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday Jan. 5, 2012 at Parkview Care Center .

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday January 9, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home .

His body has been cremated and a Private Burial of Cremains will be at a later date.

Memorials can be made to Parkview Care Center Activity Fund or to Hospice Compassus, and mailed to 2374 Juniper Ave, Fairfield, Iowa, 52556.

John Edward Fritts Jr. was born November 25, 1945 in Fairfield, Iowa to John Edward Sr. and Ezra Ernestine Hunt Fritts. He married Jane Redeker on Feb. 28, 1964, and they later divorced. He then married Susan Pauline Wolf on August 9, 1991 in Fairfield.

John was a life long resident of Fairfield. He graduted from Fairfield High School with the class of 1964. He owned and operated Fritts Auto Parts and sold auto parts for different auto parts stores in Fairfield. He was a member of VFW.

John is survived by his wife Susan Fritts of Fairfield, his children: Christy Roush of Fairfield, Cathy (George) Aplara of Fairfield, Beth (Bud) Smith of Fairfield, stepson: Corbin Shy of Fairfield, daughter-in-law: Rose Fritts,11 grandchildren: Adam (Erin) Roush of Fairfield, Courtney Roush of Mt. Pleasant, John, Nicole, and Jake Frittsof Libertyville, Casey, Colton, and Carlee Smith of Fairfield, Wyatt and Madison Aplara and Cassy Jo Shy, and 2 great grandchildren. Siblings: Barbara McClellan of Sycamore, Il., Sandra Yarnell of Birmingham, Ia., Martha Kay Davis of Maui, Hawaii, Ramona Stites of Cottonwood, Arizona.

John was preceded by: his parents John and Ezra Fritts, and son Edward William Fritts.
