John Sanderson

John Sanderson, age 56, of Fairfield, IA, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007 at his home.

In accordance with his wishes, his body will be cremated and no memorial service or family visitation will be held.

John was born in Mt. Pleasant, IA on April 26, 1951 to Paul Evert and Edith (Shaffner) Sanderson. He lived most of his life in the Fairfield area where he was retired. John enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushrooming, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.

John is survived by his wife, Carylon (William) Sanderson and their children and their families: Tammy Hanen of Fairfield, Rhonda Sanderson and her husband James of Libertyville, John Sanderson, Jr., and his wife Tina of Fairfield. He was grandfather to Jessica Palmer of Santa Barbara, CA, Kara Sanderson, Dekota Sanderson, Katie Pool Hanen, John Sanderson, III, and Brooke Sanderson of Fairfield and Libertyville. John was expecting a new grandchild, Paul Sanderson, in August of this year. Survivors include two sisters and two brothers: Jim Sanderson of Libertyville, Dick Sanderson of Comanche, IA, Polly Job of Washington, IA, and Karen Lamb of Fairfield, IA.

John was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters: Phyllis Hall and Bonnie Kempf.
