John Clarence Walker

John Clarence Walker, age 76, passed away May 10, 2014 at Parkview Care Center, Fairfield, IA.

There will not be any services. The body has been cremated and burial of cremains will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

John was born October 24, 1937 to Raymond T. and Fay Etta (Young) Walker. He married Betty (Haynes) Bell October 22, 1994. She passed away February 18, 2014.

He lived in the Fairfield and Rome area most of his life. For many years he was a truck driver for Desettis and a bartender at the Eagles. John was a former member of the Eagles.

John is survived by his step daughter, Donnene Bell; Charles (Clara) Stroud Sr., Linda (Dan) Burgess, Mary (Jack) McGee and many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bell Walker; his parents, Ray & Fay Etta Walker; sisters, Maxine Burgess, Sarah Davis; brothers, Clifford and Richard Walker.
