Joseph Michael Heckethorn

Joseph "Joey" Michael Heckethorn, age 24, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Kathy Watsey officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, November 22, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Joey Heckethorn Family and sent to Julie Heckethorn Cook 103 1/2 S. 6th St. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Joey was born in Iowa City on September 11, 1986 to Ronnie and Christine Heckethorn.

Joey enjoyed the Cubs and the Hawkeyes and loved spending time with family and friends. He was a 2004 graduate of Fairfield High School.

Joey is survived by his father: Ronnie Heckethorn of Fairfield, his mother and step-father: Christine and Tory Bennett of Eldon, 1 brother: Wyatt Bennett of Eldon, 1 sister: Heather Heckethorn of Ottumwa, 1 step-sister: Brooklyn Bennett of Eldon, 1 step-brother: Hunter Bennett of Eldon, 1 grandpa: Harry Heckethorn of Fairfield and 1 grandma: Betty Williams of Fairfield.
