Josephine Messer Thomas

Josephine Thomas, age 80 of Fairfield, IA, passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Her body has been cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield with Pastor Len Maselli officiating.

Memorials in her memory may be made to the charity of donor's choice.

Jospehine Thomas was born July 30, 1929 in Brookville, IA to Basil and Addie (Jenks) Messer. She was united in marrige with Clifford Thomas in Iowa City, IA on June 24, 1949. He preceded her in death October 6, 2008.

She is survived by a son, Arthur Thomas of Vinton, IA, and grandson Clifford Thomas of Moravia.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lorraine Pacheco.
