Joyce Ann Carroll

Joyce Ann Carroll, age 68, of Brighton, IA, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007, on the same family farm where she was born.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville, IA with Rev. Wayne Wilken officiating. Interment was in Union Cemetery.

Joyce Ann Carroll was born August 14, 1938 on her grandparent's farm in Jefferson County, IA. She was the daughter of Max W. and Edith M. (Bekel) Baldosier. She graduated from Fairfield High School in the Class of 1957. Joyce was united in marriage with Bernard C. Carroll, Jr. on March 5, 1960.

Joyce was a devoted farm wife and mother. She was employed by the Fairfield Community School District as bus driver for 30 years. Joyce was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.

Joyce is survived by her mother, Edith Baldosier of Fairfield, her husband, Bernard C. Carroll, Jr. of Brighton, IA, and her sons: Bernard M. Carroll of Des Moines, IA, and Gary L. Carroll of Brighton, IA. She has one grandson, Nolan M. Carroll. Survivors include one brother, Ron Baldosier and his wife Vickie of Fairfield.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Max W. Baldosier.
