Keith Ralph Johnson

Keith Ralph Johnson age 86, formerly of Fairfield, passed away February 21, 2013 at home in Mesa, Arizona.

According to his wishes the body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm, Friday, August 16, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory officiated by Pastor Stacy Grau. Burial of cremains with military rites will be at Memorial Lawn, Fairfield, IA. There will be a time for fellowship after the service at First United Methodist Church, Fairfield, Iowa.

Keith Ralph Johnson was born April 5, 1926 to Ralph Finley and Mary Josephine Schillerstrom Johnson in Fairfield, Iowa. He married Jo Ann Angstead on August 19, 1951 at the First Christian Church in Fairfield.

Keith graduated from Fairfield High School class of 1944 and continued his education at Parson's College. He had lived in Fairfield for 64 years and moved to Arizona in 1990. Keith was an oil jobber for Sinclair Refinery Co. and Skelly Oil Co. Keith was a Corporal for the Army Corp of Engineers from April of 1946 to March 24, 1949. He attended the Lutheran Church.

Keith is survived by his wife: Jo Ann Johnson of Mesa, Arizona; 3 sons: Ronald E. Johnson of Fairfield, Iowa, Michael W. Johnson of Citrus Heights, California, and David B. (Roberta) Johnson of Chatham, Illinois; 6 Grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott) Hastings, Terri (Ed) Van Deuren, Kyle M. Johnson, Erik C. Johnson, Alexander B. Johnson, Bradley R. Johnson; 4 Great Grandchildren: Sydney Hastings, Richard Hastings, Elizabeth Van Deuren, Thomas Van Deuren. and 1 sister in-law Judy M. Johnson of Arvada, Co.

Keith was preceded by: his parents, 2 Brother: Jerry D. and Richard F. Johnson.
