Kyoko Jackie Armstrong

Kyoko J. Armstrong, age 89, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Funeral services were held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Rev. Jim Wotherspoon officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary.

Kyoko Jackie Armstrong was born February 4, 1918 in Osaka, Japan. She was the daughter of Ichro and Masu Kitaiki. Kyoko was united in marriage with James F. Armstron in 1952 in Japan. He preceded her in death. They are the parents of one daughter, Betty.

Kyoko was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ablidinger and her husband Robert, and three grandchildren, Douglas McDowell, Andrea McVey, and Bree Morrell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
