Laura Francis Cline

Laura Francis Cline age 90, of Lockridge, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 6, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Dice officiating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Behner Funeral Home.

Laura was born September 22, 1927, to Allen and Anna (Cudworth) Williams in West Palm Beach, FL. She married Ivan Erleu Cline Sr. on December 7, 1946. They celebrated 69 years of marriage before he passed away March 25, 2016.

Laura lived most of her life in the Fairfield area. She was a homemaker, helped Ivan on the farm and worked later in life at Wal-Mart. Some of Laura’s interest were making quilts, crocheting, watching westerns and traveling.

Left to share Laura’s memories are her 5 children and spouses, Ivan (Jr) and Fon Cline of Fairfield, William (Bill) and Louise Cline of Fairfield, Duane and Phyllis Cline of Birmingham, Michael and Lilliana Cline of Agency and Carlos and Nancy Cline of Jesup, IA; 23 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry “Joe” Williams, Keith and Judy Williams and; two sisters, Mary Schultz and Helen Rippey; one sister-in-law, Wanda Williams.

Laura was preceded by her parents, Allen and Anna Williams; her husband, Ivan Cline Sr.; 3 sons and daughter-in-law, twin sons, Dale Eugene and Darrell Erleu Cline, Marvin and Carlyn Cline; two grandsons, Neiko Morris and Eric Waterhouse; and two brothers, Frank Williams and Richard Williams; two sisters-in-law, Etta Williams and Margaret Williams; and two brothers in – laws, Arza Schutz and James Rippey.
