Lillian L. Carlson

Lillian Louise Carlson, age 75, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, October 2, 2006 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, Iowa.

Funeral services were held 10:00 AM, Friday, October 7, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA with Pastor Ed Newman officiating. Burial was in Campbell Cemetery, south of Polluck, MO.

Lillian L. Carlson was born June 1, 1931 in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of Forty Jackson and Lillian Christy White.

Lillian lived most of her life in the Fairfield area where she was a homemaker. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, listening to country music, flower gardening and spending time with her family.

Lillian is survived by Leo "Red" Scotton of Fairfield, and her children and their families:
Jennings (Joyce) Hostetter of Fairfield, Delilah Moore of Fairfield, Diana Metz of Birmingham, Barbara Hatton of Fairfield, Becky (Terry) Calcate of Columbia, MO, Cynthia Brockup of Fairfield, Jackie (Dale) Kershaw of Colona, IL, and Christy (Kelvin) Tague of Branson, MO.

Lillian has 16 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Survivors include eight brothers and three sisters: Bob Christy of Dayton, OH, Jack White of Shepard MT, Kenneth White of Tehachapi, CA, Kathleen Rubel of Humboldt, IA, Bill Casteel of Polluck, MO, Richard Casteel of Tehachapi, CA, Earl Casteel of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Mike Casteel of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Norma Elliott of Libertyville, IA, Glenda Douthart of Glasgow, IA and Dennis Casteel of Birmingham, IA.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and their daughter Ruth.
