Linda E. Kopsieker

Linda E. Kopsieker "Miss K.", age 69, formerly of Ollie, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Henry County Health Center E.R. in Mt. Pleasant.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Praire View United Methodist Church with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Linda was born on December 31, 1942 in Ottumwa, to Howard Caswell and Tessie "Opal" McSparen Kopsieker.

She taught in Stanton, Missouri, Ottumwa Schools and then at the Fairfield Middle School starting in August 1979 and retired in 2001, teaching special education. She enjoyed teaching, playing pool, reading, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her son: Ken (Vonda) Kopsieker of Ollie, 1 sister-in-law: Joyce Kopsieker of Ollie, 1 grandson: Dakota Kopsieker, 2 step-granddaughters: Carinda Willett and Cassandra White, 3 nephews: David, Doug and Dan, 1 great-nephew Kolton , 3 great-nieces Haley, Hannah and Reagen Kopsieker and 1 great-great-niece Brooklynn Kopsieker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother: John Kopsieker.
