Lois Marie Jameson

Lois Marie Jameson, age 78, of Burlington, formerly of Fairfield passed away January 4, 2014 at Heartland Health Care Center, Galesburg, IL.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, IA with Pastor Charles Comfort officiating. Burial will follow the service at Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, IA.

There will not be a family visitation.

Lois Marie Jameson was born May 8, 1935 to John Wishard and Ethel Mae (Johnson) Sipe in Fairfield, IA She married Rex Levi Jameson April 6, 1956 in Fairfield, IA.

Lois graduated from Fairfield with the Class 1953. In 1957 she and Rex moved to Burlington, IA. She enjoyed watching Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball, playing cards, games, listening to Gospel Music, watching nature in the backyard and going for drives. What Lois enjoyed the most was spending time with family and friends.

Lois is survived by her husband: Rex Jameson; 3 children: Michael Jameson of Paxton, IL, Jalene Jameson of Burlington, IA and Brenda Jameson of Jacksonville, FL; 8 grandchildren: Sierra Rajczi, Kelsey Langley, Christopher Jameson, Kathleen Doerzman, Kevin Doerzman, Meaghan Hayman, Brenna Hayman and Bridget Hayman; 1 great grandchild; 4 siblings: Dale (Marilyn) Sipe, Elsie McDonald, Arlene (Jay) Bussert and Norma (Eugene) Thornburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister at infancy.
