Lois Pearl Jones, age 93 of Stockport, IA, passed away October 8, 2007 in Stockport.

Graveside funeral services were held 10:30 AM, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Spencer Cemetery in Stockport, IA. Rev. Danny Cary officiated.

Lois Pearl Jones was born May 8, 1914 in Stockport, IA, the daughter of Roy and Bessie (Mahon) Webber. She lived most of her life in Stockport, and graduated from Stockport High School.

Lois was united in marriage with A. Kester Jones on June 25, 1932. They made their home in Stockport where Lois was worked as bookkeeper in their plumbing business, Jones Plumbing and Heating. She was a devoted wife, and mother to their daughter, Sandra. Kester preceded her in death December 16, 1998.

Lois is survived by her grandchildren and their families: Terri Prevett and husband Kenneth of Stockport, IA, Alan Love and wife Kathy of Libertyville, IA, and Traci Love of Mediapolis, IA. Lois has seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Survivors include two brothers: Valvert Fleming of Stockport, and Estol (Jip) Fleming of Marian, IA.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kester, their daughter, Sandra Love, great-grandson Lucas Prevett, great-great-granddaughter Avery Owens, one brother, Harold Webber and one sister, Bernice Alley.
