Loren Bruce Skagen

Loren Bruce Skagen went to be with the LORD on December 31, 2012. Loren was 49 years old and was with his wife Kathleen, father Dick and his sister Marla when the LORD called him home. Loren was born January 17, 1963 in Antioch, California.

He was a marketing Executive working in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa over his career. Loren attended Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois, where he grew up. Loren married Kathleen on September 11, 1999. He enjoyed HO gauge trains, painting models, playing on the computer, da Bears, golf, baseball, reading, playing cribbage and making his wife happy.

He is survived by his wife: Kathleen, father: Dick Skagen and sister: Marla Skagen Vlach. He was preceded in death by his mother: Delores Wilson Skagen.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, 205 W. Broadway, Fairfield.

The funeral will be at the church on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Prairie Cemetery in Packwood and a reception will follow.
