Lorenzo "Larry" Z. Fletcher

Lorenzo "Larry" Fletcher, age 80 passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials can be sent to 408 N. D St. Apt. 2H Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

There are no services planned and burial of cremains will be at a later date in Maine.

Larry was born in Englewood, New Jersey on May 25, 1930 to William and Adaline Hills Fletcher. He married Pauline Grindle and she passed away. He married Myrna Jones on May 25, 2000.

He served with the U.S. Air Force and is a veteran of the Korean War. He was a postal carrier for most of his life.

Larry is survived by his wife: Myrna, 4 step-children: Alice (Fred) Simons of North Sioux City, South Dakota, Roy (fiancAC.e Veng) Lowe Jr of Wayland, Iowa, Paula (Tony) Young-Fisher of Fairfield, Iowa and Karlene (Johnny) Keleher of Sioux City, Iowa, 7 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Pauline and 1 brother.
