Lucille Marie Curtis, age 87, passed away April 29, 2013 at Burlington Care Center, Burlington, IA.

The body has been cremated per her wish. No service is planned at this time.

Lucille was born March 21, 1926 in Batavia, IA (Wapello County, Pleasant Township) to Estol and Mary Louise (Unkrich) Curtis.

She graduated from the University of Iowa. Lucille lived in Houston, TX and worked at Texaco as an office worker for 40 plus years before she retired. She has lived in Burlington, IA for the last 4 years.

Lucille is survived by her Foster Sister: Peggy Inbody and many cousins in the area.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a lifelong friend: Jo Howland.
