Lucille H. Fredericks

Lucille H. Fredericks age 85, of Fairfield, IA passed away April 18, 2008 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday April 22, 2008, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA. Pastor Marvin Robeck will offiate. Interment will be at a later date in Davenport, IA.

Lucille H. Fredericks was born November 17,1922 in Fairfield, Iowa to Ira and Mary Hootman. She married Earl E. Fredericks in Davenport, IA. September 14, 1944. Lucille and her husband returned to Fairfield in 2002.

Lucille worked at the former Sears Roebuck in Davenport for nine years and later worked at the former First Federal Savings and Loan for ten years before retiring in 1974. Lucille was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Fairfield and af ormer member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport,IA.

Lucille is survived by her husband, Earl, and their sons and families: Rick and Sheila Fredericks of Hartland,WI, Dave & Sylvia Fredericks of Fairfield, a sister Virginia Clark of Cleveland, OH, four granddaughters, Stephanie (Shaun)Callan of Hartland, WI, Natalie (Brad) Sayers of Milwaukee, WI, Dr. Sarah Fredericks of Atlanta,GA, and Rachel Fredericks of Seattle, WA; in-laws Ruth and Earl Cook of Des Moines, IA, Barbara Hootman of Cleveland, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, and a brother Jack Hootman.
