Luella A. Hagans

Luella Hagans, age 76, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Per her wishes the body has been cremated. There will be a private family service at a later date.

Luella Hagans was born February 24, 1939 to Paul and Edith (Henry) Calhoun. She married Jack Hagans August 12, 1960. This year they celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Luella lived all her life in Fairfield. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, horses and visiting with family and friends.

Luella is survived by her husband, Jack Hagans of Fairfield, IA; 4 children, Rick Hagans of Selma, IA, Cindy Blythe of Trenton, IA, Chris Wagner of Ottumwa, IA and Jack Hagans II of Fairfield, Iowa; 8 grandchildren, Kent Hagans, Karen Witzenburg, Aaron Hagans, Michelle Caskey, John Blythe, Stephanie Starnes, Josh Wagner, Terra McPheter, Crystal Wagner, and Tina Tickeng; 8 great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Beverly Brobston of Fairfield, IA and Shirley Langel of Mt. Pleasant, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Edith Calhoun; and 3 sisters, Donna Smart, Jackie Smart and Janet McKinzie.
