Family visitation was held 10 AM to 11 AM, Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED THE FAMILY VISITATION AT 11:30 AM IN FELL CEMETERY IN LIBERTYVILLE, IOWA. Rev. Danny Cary officiated.

Lyle Meck was born June 9, 1917 in Birmingham, Iowa. He was the son of Raymond Henry and Harriet Jane (Lyon) Meck and one of 9 children.

Lyle married Eva Irene O'Laughlin in Lancaster, Missouri on October 5, 1939. They were the parents of three children. Eva died January 7, 1995.

Lyle farmed all his life in Libertyville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially enjoyed his grandchildren, Kendell and Logan.

Surviving Lyle are his daughter, Kathy Frescoln and her husband, Richard of Batavia, Iowa, his grandchildren, Kendell and Logan and a great-grandchild, B.T. Survivors include one sister, Leona Holder and one brother, Clifton Meck.

Preceding Lyle in death are his parents, his wife, Eva, two infant children, Marilyn and Michael, one sister, Edna Crafton and five brothers, Joseph, Melvin, Wesley, Donald and Harold Meck.
