Margaret 'Jean' Huffman

Margaret 'Jean' Huffman, age 78, of Libertyville, IA, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at home.

Following her wishes, the body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Private family inurnment will be held in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant at a later date.

The family requests memorials be made to Libertyville Fire Dept. or charity of the donor's choice.

Margaret 'Jean' Huffman was born in Mt. Pleasant, IA on June 3, 1929 to Elmer E. and Zella (Ellis) Jennings. She married Edward Huffman and they later divorced. Jean was a long-time resident of Libertyville and was a care provider for ResCare for 12 years.

Jean is survived by her children and their families: Connie (Chris) Vagtborg of St. Simons Island, GA, Rhonda (Greg) Kurtz of Chino Valley, AZ, Donna (Adam) Zendejas of Phoenix, AZ, Lon Huffman of Birmingham, IA, Sandy (Jerry) Lathrop of Swisher, IA, and Lorie (Danny) Stevens of Casa Grande, AZ. Jean was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Survivors include one brother, Arlie Jennings, of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Bonnie Huffman, and a sister, LaDoris Boshart.
