Margaret Marie Moss

Margaret Marie Moss, age 72 of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, in Iowa City.

Her body has been cremated. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Monday, November 12, 2012, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home.

Margaret was born on July 8, 1940 in Sigourney, Iowa to Clarence Clifford and Hazel Margaret Hahn Thompson. She married Fred Charles Moss in December 1959.

She worked at Dexter Foundry for 10 years. Her hobbies consisted of crocheting, country music and her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her husband: Fred of Fairfield, 1 son: Barry Moss of Fairfield, 1 daughter: Carol Proulx of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada, 4 granddaughters: Krystal Laird and Robin Leerhoff both of Des Moines, Morgan Moss of Mt. Pleasant and Megan Casteel of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 sister: Alice Puder of Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Dougles Moss (August 31, 1960) and 2 brothers: Charles Clifford Thompson and Larry Thompson.
