Margaret Belle Pool

Margaret Belle Pool age 103, passed away March 9, 2015 at Sunny brook living Care Center in Fairfield, Iowa.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 am, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Suburban Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Margaret was born November 29, 1911 to Frank Moore and Marie Winters in Selma, Iowa. She married Lester Robert Pool May 18, 1933 in Batavia, Iowa. He passed away July 31, 1986.

For the last 50 years she lived in Fairfield and was a homemaker & did outside housekeeping. She enjoyed baking pies. Some of her other interest or hobbies were crocheting, sewing, reading and doing a lot of walking. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. Margaret attended Suburban Heights Baptist Church.

Margaret is survived by her 4 children, Ella (Darrell) Cass of Fairfield, IA. Donna Coatney of Marshalltown, IA, Sandra (Dean) Bass of Birmingham, IA and Jerry (Carolyn) Pool of Birmingham, IA; 13 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; one brother, Rex Moore of Eldon, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Manervia Moore; her husband, Lester Pool; one sister, Louise Essary; 5 brothers, Theodore, Harold, Charles, Edward and George Moore; and one granddaughter, Priscilla Coop.
