Marian L. Boese was born November 19, 1922 to Daniel August and Florence Christine Miller Horn near Weaver, Iowa. She married Dale Junior Boese on May 28, 1951 in Washington, Iowa. He died May 20, 2007.

Marian has lived most of her life in Washington, Henry, and Jefferson counties. She was a homemaker and worked for the Glove factory in New London, and for Universal producing in Fairfield. Her hobbies include making Quilts,rugs, crafting, and scrapbooking.She also enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Marian is survived by her children Gary (Linda) Phillips of Selma, Ia., Pamela Jackson of Washington, Ia., Alan Boese of Lockridge, Ia., 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, siblings , Donald Horn of Escondido, CA., Harlan Horn of Fallbrook,CA., Arlene Kirk of Elk, Washington, Marcelene Watson of Hillsboro, Ia.

Marian was preceded by her Parents, 1 daughter Paula Nixon, 2 brothers Edward and Jerry Horn,and 1 sister Lois Horn Johnson.
