Marjorie May Book

Marjorie May Book, age 69, of Packwood, Iowa passed away Thursday March 11, 2010 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, Iowa.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Iowa with words of comfort by Ted and Dan Munson. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery in Packwood, Iowa.

Family visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday March 14, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home.

Marjorie May Book was born February 20, 1941 to Charles "Mike" and Bessie Morrow Doud, in Fairfield, Iowa. She married Kay Book on June 1, 1958 at the First Christian Church in Fairfield, Iowa.

She lived most of her life in the Packwood community, farmed and was a homemaker. She had a love for Arabian horses and working in the field.

Marjorie is survived by her husband Kay, 2 children Terry (Judy) Book of Hedrick and Tammy (Kim) Cordray of Ottumwa, 5 grandchildren Chelsi, Matt and Tyler Book and Scott and Mindy Cordray and 3 greatgrandchildren Chris, Janaya and Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother John Doud and 1 sister Mary Munson.
