Marjory Ellen Fitzgerald

Marjory Ellen Fitzgerald, age 87, passed away November 19, 2013 at Parkview Care Center, Fairfield, Iowa.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, November 22, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Dave Albert officiating.
Burial will be after the service in Ottumwa Cemetery.

Marjory Ellen Fitzgerald was born December 24, 1925 to Clarence William and Ellen Sophrenia (Johnson) Boos in Lockridge, Iowa. She married Hobart Fitzgerald Jr. August 6, 1945 in Ottumwa, Iowa. He passed away July 19, 2000.

Marjory graduated from Farson High School. She lived her entire life in the Birmingham, Ottumwa and Fairfield area. Marjory was a homemaker and sold Avon. She belonged to American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and loved to cross stitch. Marjory attended the Agency Methodist Church.

Marjory is survived by her children: Jerry Alan (Linda) of Fairfield, William Hobart (Joyce) of Ottumwa, Donald Robert (Joan) of Birmingham, and John Edward Fitzgerald of Fairfield; 12 grandchildren: Brenda Evans, Donna Smith, Paula Mackey, Bill Fitzgerald Jr., John Fitzgerald Jr., Jacob Fitzgerald, Shirley Rainbolt, Patsy Peiffer, Danny Kirby, Cathy Toom, Hannah Fitzgerald and Benjamin Fitzgerald; 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; 1 brother: Merle Wesley Boos of Milwaukee, WI.

She was preceded in death by her: parents, husband, and infant son: Ronald Eugene, 1 brother: Roger Boos and infant sister.
