Madeline Maxine Turner Parker, of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2006 at her home.
Funeral services were held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield, with Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Madeline "Maxine" Parker was born August 31, 1924 in Birmingham, IA, the daughter of Guy Raymond and Nina (Lyon) Turner. She was united in marriage with Wilson M. Parker in California, MO on May 4, 1940. They were the parents of five children: Judy, Patty Jo, Ed, Debi, and Mike. Wilson passed away March 25, 2000.
Maxine was a devoted wife and mother. She was employed at Fairfield Glove in the leather department, and retired in 1977. During this time, she enjoyed bowling. Maxine was a member of Suburban Heights Baptist Church, and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her two cats, Salt & Pepper.
Maxine is survived by her children and their families: Judy and husband Chet Mathes of Oskaloosa, IA, Ed and wife Karen Parker, Debi and husband Doug Ayer, and Mike and wife Catrina Parker, all of Fairfield, as well as son-in-law Kermit Leppert of Richland. She has 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Survivors include one sister, Jean Starkson of Flora, IN.
Preceding Maxine in death are her parents, her husband, one daughter, Patty Jo Leppert, three brothers and three sisters: George, Harold and Donnie Turner, Donna Boese, Marjorie Smiddy, and Wilma Fleming.
