Merriam
Ilene Leazer, age 74 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at
Parkview Care Center, Fairfield, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday,
September 28, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Wotherspoon
officiating. Burial will be at Sharon
Cemetery, Lee County, Iowa.

Visitation for family and friends will be
9:00 am - 10:00 am, Saturday, September 28, 2013 prior to the service.

Merriam
was born December 19, 1938 in Hillsboro, Iowa to Owen Guy and Edith Pearl
(Barnes) Leazer. She graduated from
Fairfield High School with the class of 1959.

She
loved to read and do puzzles. Merriam
attended the Calvary Baptist Church, Batavia, IA.

Merriam
is survived by her siblings: Delta Leazer of Montgomery, Texas, Harold Leazer of
Wilton, Iowa, Garold Leazer of Fairfield, Iowa, Floyd Leazer of Great Falls,
Montana, James Leazer of Mounment, Colorado, Leron Leazer of Ft. Collins,
Colorado and Jerry Leazer of Batavia, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

She was
preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers: Olan, Keith, Victor and Newell
Leazer.
