Mildred Estelle Paquin

Mildred E. Paquin, age 78, of Fairfield, IA, passed away Tuesday evening, June 17, 2008 at Nelson's Nursing Home in Fairfield. The body has been cremated.

Friends may pay their respects to the family Thursday, July 24, 2008 between 6:30 and 8:30 PM at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Inurnment will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery at 1:00 PM, July 25, 2008, in Rock Island, IL.

Mildred Estelle Paquin was born February 1, 1930 in New Haven, CT, the daughter of Walter and Ada (Riggs) Earp. She was united in marriage with Walter Julius Paquin and he passed away in 1988. Mildred was a homemaker and resident of Packwood for the past 10 years.

Mildred is survived by her children and their families: Denise Stevens of Fairfield, Connie Light of Rio Vista, CA, and Michael Paquin of Moline, IL. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Dave Goeden, Jr., James Light, Jr., John Goeden, Michael Light, and Jasen Light, as well as five great-grandchildren. Survivors include three brothers: Raymond Earp of Las Vegas, NV, and Leroy Earp and Wyatt Earp, both of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sons: Larry Paquin and Patrick Paquin.
