Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Behner Funeral Home. Pastor Nathan Aaseng of Creston officiated.

Mineta A. Pringle was born August 2, 1921 in Libertyville, IA, the daughter of Charles and Jennie (Bowers) Booth. Mineta married Charles Pringle on April 1, 1939 in Fairfield. They were the parents of one son, Robert. Charles passed away March 30, 1985.

Mineta was an assistant at the Fairfield Public Library for 10 years, retiring in 1997. Previously, she was employed as a sales assistant for Sears. Mineta was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

Mineta is survived by her son, Robert Pringle and his wife, Wendy, of Edgewood, NM, two granddaughters: Alison Pringle and Stacy Wood of Creston, IA and a great-grandson, Grant. Survivors include her former daughter-in-law, Judy Pringle of Creston, IA and two sisters: Marie Zuelhke of Eldon, IA and Gladys McDonough of Ottumwa, IA.

Predeceasing Mineta are her parents, husband Charles and one brother, Raymond Booth.
