Minnie Lucile Winslow

Minnie L. Winslow, age 89 of Fairfield, IA, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Washington County Hospital and Clinics in Washington, IA.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield with Rev. Dave Peterson officiating.

Open visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, September 1, at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Minnie Lucile Winslow was born in Perlee, IA on January 13, 1920 to Robert I. and Ella Mae (Allen) Ross. She was united in marriage with Arthur J. Winslow August 31, 1940 in Memphis, MO. He preceded her in death September 27, 1993.

Mrs. Winslow was employed for 27 years as a seamstress for Universal Producing Company in Fairfield. She later retired from A.C.Co-Babcock, Inc. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Winslow was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother: LuAnn, Lula Bella, Letha, Gertrude Boyle, Ruth Quigley, Mildred Ward, and Leonard Ross.
