Morris Cleve Tyrrell died Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
He was born May 2, 1946, in Lafayette, Indiana. His father was Frank Elija Tyrrell, and his mother was Elva Lois Sprowls. He was preceded in death by his parents and a baby brother, Frank Andrew Tyrell.
He is survived by a brother, Garrett Lee (Judy) Tyrrell of Hobart, Indiana.
Morris was a world traveler and has worked a variety of jobs in his lifetime ranging from sheep rancher in Australia to security guard at MIU to high end audio in Chicago to center chairman of the Albuquerque Capital of Age of Enlightment. It seems he knew something about everything.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022, at his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on South 32nd Street.
We will miss his dry wit and his ability to see through deception, a skill needed more than ever in today’s world.
