No funeral services are planned at this time. Mr. Snyder donated his body to the University of Iowa for medical research.

Norman Frederick Snyder was born April 5, 1938 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Norman F. and Ethel R. (Sanders) Snyder. He married Susan J. Harper on May 20, 1960 in Burlington. They were the parents of 6 children.

Norman was most recently employed at Creative Edge Corporation where he enjoyed antagonizing all his fellow employees, especially supervisors and management, in particular Mr. Bettis and a gentleman named "The Gladiator". He enjoyed woodworking and collected model semi-trucks and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Susan, of Richland, his children and their families: Scott & Shawn Snyder of boone, IA, Chris & Tony Kuntz of Washington, Becky & Jerry Hoover of Richland, Connie Snyder of Davenport, Joann & Harold Johnson of Greenville, TN and Mike & Chrissy Snyder of Huron, SD.

Norman was grandfather to: Andrew, Travis, Sydney, Logan, Tyler, Amanda & her special friend Dave, Cody, Sarah & her husband Calder, Steven, Seth, Shelton, Eli, Cameron, and Shaley. Norman was greatgrandfather to Aidan. Norman also had two sister: Betsey Rutledge of Milledgeville, GA and Rita Miller of Iowa City, IA.

Norman was predeceased by his parents.
