Pamela "Pam" Lynn Ledger

Pamela “Pam” Lynn Ledger, age 43, of Hedrick, passed away April 29, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at PraireView United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Peterson officiating. Cremation will follow.
Private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at PraireView United Methodist Church North of Packwood, IA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Pam Ledger Memorial Fund. Memorials and cards can be mailed to 3121 146th Blvd. Brighton, Iowa 52540.

Pam was born March 14, 1971 in Iowa City, Iowa. She graduated from Fairfield High School class of 1989. She has lived most of her life in the Hedrick, Richland and Ollie area. Pam worked for Cambridge Investments where she had made significant progress towards her Bronze level Cambridge Client Service Excellence designation. She was promoted to Partner Support Senior Representative in September 2013 and to Team Lead March 2014. During her tenure at Cambridge, Pam received over two hundred “ABCD” and “Fish Tale” nominations, recognition from coworkers and clients for a job well done and going above and beyond.

Pam’s life revolved around her three daughters and grandson. Her favorite activities included cheering for her daughter Emma’s running events at Central College where she will graduate this spring, supporting daughter Sydney’s activities including band, choir and sports at Pekin Community Schools, and spending time with her daughter Amanda and grandson Carson. She loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, working out with her friends and was planning travels to visit her favorite spots at the ocean in the future.

Pam is survived by her daughters, Amanda Nelson of Mt. Pleasant IA, Emma Nelson of Pella IA, and their father Nathan Nelson of Lockridge IA; Sydney Snyder of Hedrick IA and her father Scott Snyder of Boone IA; one grandson, Carson Stagers of Mt. Pleasant IA; two brothers, Greg Ledger and his wife Sarah of Brighton IA and Phil Ledger of Ollie IA; Pam’s special friend Matt Welcher of Hedrick, IA, Janet Peck of Fairfield IA; Virgil and Janice Ledger of Brighton IA, four stepbrothers and sisters Janie Giberson, James (Tara) Giberson, Lonna Giberson and Lisa Harris.

Pam was preceded in death by her Grandparents and Great Grandparents and one stepbrother Jason Giberson.
