Parker Carey Withrow, age 65, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Open visitation for family and friends will start at 2:00 pm with family present from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Packwood Christian Church.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Packwood Christian Church with Pastor Frosty Van Voorst officiating. Military rites will be held after the service at the church. Burial will at Novinger Cemetery, Novinger, MO.

Parker was born on September 25, 1949 to Clarence Leroy and Nina Bernice (Ray) Withrow in Livonia, MO. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Sharp on April 8, 1973 in Edina, MO and in the union they had six children, Cindy, Paul, Barbara, Ronnie Tammy and Sarah.
He graduated from Novinger High School in Novinger, MO. Parker joined the Navy after high school and served during the Vietnam War.
Parker had worked for the Rock Island Rail Road, Dickey’s Transport and Foodliner in Eddyville as a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to stock car races.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Withrow; 4 daughters, Cindy (Mike) Bohrn of Williamsburg, IA, Barb (Mike) Rutherford of Packwood, IA, Tammy and Sarah Withrow of Fairfield, IA; 2 sons, Paul (Monique) Withrow of Modesto, CA and Ronnie Withrow of Fairfield, IA; 5 grandchildren, Rachel Thorpe, Gabi Rutherford, Kelsie, Kylie and Derek Bohrn; four sisters, Margie (Jerry) Dean, Sandra Dunaway, Louise Huggins, Debra Swann; two brothers, Ruben (Darlene) Withrow and Charles (Brenda) Withrow; and several nieces and nephews.
Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Nina and Leroy Withrow; one sister, Dorothy Cornelison; and one brother Darl Shrake.
