Pearl L. Waugh, age 88 died June 20, 2008 at Jefferson County Hospital.

Only Private Family Graveside services are planned with burial of cremains in Fell Cemetery.

According to Pearls wishes her body was cremated.

Pearl Lucille Waugh was born February 18, 1920 in Fairfield, Iowa to John H. and Myrtle Waters Coffin. She married Gayle Warren Waugh on May 28, 1938 in Lancaster Mo. He died on December 9, 1957. They were the parents of 12 children.

Pearl was raised in the Fairfield area, and graduated from Fairfield High School class of 1936. She was a bus driver for the Fairfield School District for 23 years. Pearl enjoyed playing cards with several groups of friends, she also enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.

James & (Marie) Waugh of Libertyville, Ia., William & (Connie) Waugh of Libertyville, Donald & (Janice) Waugh of Midland,Mi., Janet & (Van) Meek of Stockport, Ia., Linda & (Tom) Keely of Fairfield, Ia., Kenneth & (Elaine) Waugh of Springboro, Oh., Robert & (Diane) Waugh of Libertyville,Ia., Ruth & (Larry) Martin of Fairfield,Ia., Dennis & (Mary) Waugh of Cedar Rapids,Ia., and Darrell & (Jane) Waugh of Hedrick, Ia. 35 grandchildren, and 48 great grandchildren.

Pearl was preceded by her parents, husband, 1 son Roger Waugh, 6 brothers Milton, Raymond, John C., Willard, Lester, and Kenneth. 2 Sisters Mary Boughner, and an infant Blanche, 1 great granddaughter Shelby Larson and 1 great grandson Gene Hulscher.

Behner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
