Peggy Ilene Lane

Peggy Ilene Lane was born in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Madeline Pauline Shanstrom Thomas Lane. She married Harold Lane on September 23, 1958 and they were later divorced.

Peggy lived most of her life in the Fairfield Community. In her early years, she was employed at the Fairfield Glove Co. She was Asst. Mgr. at Pizza Hut for 16 years and then woked 8 years at Hy-Vee in the Meat Dept.

Survivors include her children and their families; son Michael Lane of North Manchester,Indiana, two daughters; Deborah (Orlando) Jaquez of Fairfield, Iowa and Karina Good, also of Fairfield. She was grandmother to 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 4.

Surviving siblings include 4 brothers and 4 sisters; Richard Thomas, Jim Lane, Patty Lathrop & Kathy Klett of Fairfield, IA, Ronald Thomas of Webster, TX, Dan Lane of Pleasant Plain, IA, Karen Gordon of Washington, IA, and Connie Gardner of Wales, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Marie Owens and 2 nephews; Dean Owens, Jr. & Kelly Lathrop.

Funeral Services for Peggy Lane were held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Cremation followed the service.
