Phyllis Marie Keller, age 83, formally of Stockport passed away Wednesday, Aug 28, 2013 at Sunnybrook Living Care Center, Fairfield, Iowa.
Per her wishes her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Stockport Heritage Center with Pastor Jason Mott officiating. There will be a luncheon to follow the service. Private burial of cremains at Wright Cemetery will be at a later date.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, August 30, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home.

Phyllis Marie Keller was born October 18, 1929 in Floris, Iowa to Robert and Lula (Mayer) Van Patten. She married Wayne R. Keller August 13, 1949 at North Court Baptist Church, Ottumwa, Iowa. They just celebrated 64 years of marriage.
Phyllis and Wayne lived southeast of Fairfield since 1952. She was a member of Stockport Christian Church. She sang with the Barber Shop Quartet (Note-a-Belles). She enjoyed playing music and writing music (Blue Grass genres). She played at the Bluegrass Festivals. Phyllis liked to write poems and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her husband: Wayne R. Keller, 2 children; Andrea (Victor) Harlan and Paul (Kim) Keller; 2 grandchildren: Max Harlan and Erika Windmeyer; 1 step Grandchildren: Sean Quarles and 4 great Grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law: Marcella Van Patten and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
