Ralph Billy Sunday Clark

Ralph Billy Sunday Clark, age 85 of Batavia, passed away June 6, 2010 at the Ottumwa Good Samaritan Health and Rehab Center.

Family visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home. A private burial of cremains will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Ralph Clark family and sent to 2146 Cedar Ave. Batavia, Iowa 52533.

Ralph was born in Batavia on January 25, 1925 to Thomas Blaine and Beulah Woodna Long Clark. He married Vivian Joyce Batterson on May 16, 1955 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He was a factory and construction worker and he also farmed.

He is survived by his wife, 6 sons, Ralph of Isle, Minnesota, Carl of Colorado Springs, Colorado, John of Nevada, Dale of Ottumwa, Robert of Kansas and George of Batavia, 3 daughters, Virginia Johnson of Keosauqua, Lisa Copeland of Ollie and Sherri Ellis of Fairfield, 16 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, 1 infant brother, Thomas and 2 sisters, Roma Hunt and Fairy Wich.
